PHORONIX
This afternoon at Phoronix we celebrating the crossing of 14 million test downloads on OpenBenchmarking.org.

A short time ago OpenBenchmarking.org crossed delivering 14 million open-source Linux benchmarks by the community over the past five years. This count doesn't even factor in older versions prior to Phoronix Test Suite 3.0 (when OpenBenchmarking.org integration was added) nor most of the enterprise users running "behind the firewall" with their own distributed download caches or Phoromatic Servers that just download a test once for sharing automatically on the intranet.

This milestone is coming just ahead of the launch next month of the new version of OpenBenchmarking.org -- the biggest overhaul to it in the past five years. Stay tuned for more details in the days ahead.
