What Year-End Linux Tests Would You Like To See For 2015?

With the year quickly coming to an end, I've already started work on my usual year-end open-source/Linux comparisons to show how the performance has evolved over the past year.

There will be my usual NVIDIA/AMD Linux graphics driver comparisons showing the progression of their drivers over the past year, a ritual I've been doing each December for the past decade. I'm also working on some larger graphics card comparisons with the latest open-source driver stack at year's end to show the current potential of Mesa/Gallium3D. Lastly I'll looking at doing some fresh kernel/distribution benchmarks over the course of many releases for showing the evolution of performance on that Linux front too.

If any Phoronix readers have any interesting/unique requests for other year-end benchmarking specials, feel free to post your thoughts by commenting on this article in our forums. Of course, to fit the extra tests in my 100+ hour per week schedule, priority on test requests is given to Phoronix Premium members and donors.
