RADEON
For those that haven't heard yet, AMD has formed the Radeon Technologies Group for focusing on their graphics division.

Over the summer was the rumor of AMD considering a split into two or otherwise breaking it up. The forming of the Radeon Technologies Group appears to be that restructuring.

Leading this new group is Raja Koduri, the principal architect of the R300 GPU going back to the ATI Technologies days. Koduri will be in charge of the Radeon Technologies Group and will then report directly to AMD's CEO, Lisa Su.

Hopefully the Radeon Technologies Group will mean more good things for Linux and open-source moving forward!

Press release here.
