Arch Linux Releases Pacman 5.0

The Arch Linux crew has announced the release of their Pacman 5.0 package manager.

Pacman 5.0.0 brings support for running hooks pre/post-transaction, support for reading and syncing .files databases, improved signal handling and file lock removal, more information is suppoed when hitting dependency errors, the databases will now always be updated if corrupted, many Coverity fixes, and various other bug fixes and small improvements throughout.
