The Aubinator tool has been added to the Mesa tree for helping Intel graphics driver developers debug problems.

Aubinator is a tool for reading AUB files dumped by the Intel driver and via intel_aubdump in the Intel GPU Tools package. There's been the AUB file support present in Mesa for a few years while now Aubinator as a tool for dealing with these files is being added to the Mesa source tree.

The commit adding Aubinator explains, "The Aubinator tool is designed to help the driver developers in debugging the driver functionality by decoding the data in the .aub files."

So nothing exciting for end-users, but will hopefully help open-source developers in figuring out Intel's graphics driver troubles.
