With the two new, low-end Broadwell laptops currently being tested, I was curious whether the Intel HD Graphics 5500 were any faster using Mesa 11.2-devel Git than the current Mesa 11.0 stable packages in Ubuntu 15.10.

From the $350 ASUS laptop with Core i3 5010U CPU boasting HD Graphics 5500, I ran some tests on Ubuntu 15.10 x86_64 comparing the stock Mesa 11.0.2 packages against Mesa 11.2-devel from the Padoka PPA yesterday. A Linux 4.4 Git kernel was running on the system.

Long story short, Mesa 11.2-dev was barely any faster than Mesa 11.0 for this Broadwell Core i3 system.
