Ceylon 1.2 Brings New Language Features

Ceylon, the programming language based on Java and developed at Red Hat, is out with a new version of this programming language that can be lowered down into JavaScript.

Ceylon 1.2 brings new language features of named constructors, serialization, native declrations, improved flow-sensitive typing, let/switch/if/object expressions, more powerful annotation constraints, etc. The JavaScript back-end also has experimental support for type functions. The Ceylon tooling provides a new debugger and a new Java EE packaging command.
