Civilization VI Is Coming This Year, Linux Will Be Supported

For fans of Sid Meier, Civilization VI was announced today and there's already confirmation of Linux support.

The trailer to Civilization VI was made public today as the successor to 2014's Civilization V: Beyond Earth.


Similar to the previous game, Civilization VI will be supported under Linux. The Linux/Mac confirmation was shared today via the official @CivGame Twitter account.

Civilization VI is expected to launch in October of 2016.
