Earlier this year CompuLab announced the Fitlet PC as a tiny, fanless, Linux-friendly PC. The Fitlets are finally starting to ship at scale and recently I received one of the AMD-powered Fitlets that's preloaded with Linux Mint. Here's a quick look at the Fitlet.

After having been quite pleased with all of the other CompuLab Linux systems I've used up to this point (the Fit-PC2, Trim-Slice, Intense-PC, Utilite, and Intense-PC2), I've been quite excited about trying the Fitlet as it's the first Linux PC from this Israeli PC vendor that I've encountered to use an AMD APU SoC.

The model I was sent over for testing at Phoronix featured the AMD A10 Micro-6700T with Radeon R6 Graphics, 4GB of RAM, 64GB SanDish SSD, and WiFi. And it's all completely fanless!

I've only been testing the unit for the past week so expect the full review on Phoronix in the next few weeks. I just wanted to share today that this model is being tested and so far it's going well. You can find some initial benchmark results via this OpenBenchmarking.org result file.
