Over one year after the DirectFB project site disappeared and the code just appearing on GitHub, they have a project site restored but the development still appears rather dormant.

It looks like their old site ended up getting squatted (DirectFB.org) but now they have restored their web presence with DirectFB.net with their same old website. Their latest project news though remains from mid-2014 and the latest major DirectFB release from 2013. The return of a DirectFB web-site was mentioned recently on the Qt mailing list when discussing whether DirectFB is dead or not.

But things still don't look good for the future of the project with their GitHub repository not being touched since the end of 2015 and the DirectFB user having been abandoned.

If anyone has any other background information about what's been going on behind the scenes with DirectFB, feel free to email me.
