There is a new feature to talk about for Etnaviv Gallium3D, the open-source reverse-engineered driver designed for Vivante graphics cores.

Christian Gmeiner has published a set of patches this weekend adding support for OpenGL shader variants to the Etnaviv Gallium3D driver.

The patches amounting to about 300 lines of new code can be found via Mesa-dev. Great to see Etnaviv continuing to make progress and another open-source ARM graphics / reverse-engineered driver success story.
