FreeBSD developers have released today their first official development media for the upcoming FreeBSD 10.3.

FreeBSD 10.3 Beta 1 is now available from their FTP server.

So far per the 10.3 release schedule, things are happening right on time. Beta and releases candidates will continue over the next month while they hope to officially release FreeBSD 10.3 on 22 March.

I haven't yet seen a complete change-log of FreeBSD 10.3 (Beta 1) changes, but when I do, I'll pass it along. In case you missed it, the FreeBSD camp recently released their latest quarterly report highlighting all of the development activity happening for this leading open-source BSD operating system.
