For fans of FreeDOS as an alternative to MS-DOS, the 1.2 Release Candidate is now available.

FreeDOS 1.2-RC1 is now available with hopes of releasing FreeDOS 1.2 officially on 25 December 2016, Christmas.

An announcement of FreeDOS 1.2-RC1 can be found via this blog post although unfortunately I have yet to see a feature change-log for the material to be included for the FreeDOS 1.2 release.
