Frederic Peters announced GNOME 3.17.92 this morning, a.k.a. the release candidate to GNOME 3.18.

Frederic wrote in the announcement, "Here we are, this is the end of this development cycle and here comes a release candidate for you to download, build, and test. Enjoy it as fast as you can, the final release is scheduled next Wednesday."

Being at the end of GNOME 3.18 development, there's no break-through features added in this revision, but there's been tons of good stuff throughout the 3.18 development cycle. One late fix found in this version though is cursor scaling for HiDPI screens.

GNOME 3.18.0 is official on 23 September.
