GNOME developers are busy working on the 3.17/3.18 series following last month's successful release of GNOME 3.16. As usual, developers are planning to have this next release out in late September.

The GNOME 3.17/3.18 schedule was firmed up last week with all of the release milestones leading up to the September debut of GNOME 3.18.0.

GNOME 3.18.0 is planned for release on 23 September while before that the 3.17 series kicks off with the GNOME 3.17.1 development release next week, 29 April. There's two GNOME 3.17 milesatones in May, two over June and July, and the GNOME 3.18 Beta in August.

Stay tuned for GNOME 3.18 development coverage over the weeks ahead on Phoronix.
