GStreamer core, gst-plugins-base, gst-plugins-good, gst-plugins-ugly, gst-plugins-bad, gst-libav, gst-rtsp-server, gst-python, gst-editing-services, gst-validate, gstreamer-vaapi, and gst-omx now have out their first 1.9 unstable series releases.

GStreamer 1.9.1 components are now available for these pieces of this multimedia stack. 1.9.1 is the first unstable release of the series in preparing for the feature GStreamer 1.10 release later this year.

In digging through the release notes for these v1.9.1 components, it's mostly been bug fixing thus far. To learn about all of the individual changes in this release, visit the GStreamer FreeDesktop.org project site.
