Git 2.13 Released, Adds SHA-1 Collision Detection

Git 2.13 is now available as the latest version of this widely-used, open-source version control system.

Git 2.13 improves its experimental split-index feature, improvements to its Windows port, has a security fix around git shell, adds SHA-1 collision detection support, pathspec improvements, and a variety of other work.
