Google announced today the release of the Chrome 42 Beta web-browser build.

Chrome 42 Beta brings new push notifications that work even when a web-page is closed, promotes the "Add to Home Screen" functionality, offers ES6 classes support in JavaScript strict mode, Fetch API improvements, Web Audio API improvements, and various other changes.
