The Insurgency first person shooter game powered by Valve's Source Engine is now natively available for SteamOS/Linux gamers.

One month after reporting on Insurgency being ported to Linux, the game by New World Interactive is out in beta.

The game can be bought from the Steam Store for $14.99 USD and should work fine once activating the beta for Linux. The game is powered by the Source Engine so the performance should be in good shape.

More details via their Linux client feedback thread.
