Intel's open-source team has announced the release of Beignet 1.2.1 as the newest version of their OpenCL GPU hardware implementation for Linux.

Beignet 1.2.1 only ships bug fixes over Beignet 1.2.0 that was released back in August. Beignet 1.2.1 has various fixes such as adding some missing PCI IDs, runtime improvements, and more. No real new features for Beignet 1.2.1 as those are being saved for Beignet 1.3.

There also is not yet any OpenCL 2.x support in Beignet while the OCL20 branch hasn't been updated now in five months.

The changes for Beignet 1.2.1 can be found via their Git repository.
