François Tigeot has landed his i915 Intel DRM driver update that brings the DragonFlyBSD's Intel graphics driver up to parity with the Linux 3.17 kernel.

This DRM code update has a Haswell stability fix, Broadwell and Cherryview support improvements, better runtime power management, Panel Self-Refresh is now enabled by default for Haswell/Broadwell, better interrupt handling, and various other fixes. The DragonFlyBSD developers and those behind other BSDs are slowly but surely catching up to the latest upstream Linux kernel DRM code that they're porting from. François has also been making much progress in catching up with his porting of the Radeon DRM code.

The i915 3.17 update details can be found via this Git commit.
