Intel's open-source Mesa driver is now in compliance with another OpenGL ES 3.2 extension.

The latest extension to be enabled is KHR_texture_compression_astc_sliced_3d, which is wired in now for the Intel driver. KHR_texture_compression_astc_sliced_3d extends the GL_KHR_compression_astc_ldr extension to support slice-based 3D textures using the LDR profile. More details on that extension here.

The work is now in Git ahead of the stable release in September. The Intel driver is still the closest Mesa hardware driver to having OpenGL ES 3.2 compliance but is still missing out on a few key extensions like KHR_blend_equation_advanced, OES_geometry_shader, OES_tessellation_shader, and OES_texture_cube_may_array.
