More Intel Kabylake Enablement Coming To Linux 4.5

The final feature pull request has been sent in of the Intel DRM graphics driver for targeting the Linux 4.5 kernel.

Intel's Open-Source Technology Center team has already sent in multiple i915 DRM updates for Linux 4.5 while Daniel Vetter, Intel's DRM maintainer, sent in the final pull request this morning for getting the code aligned into DRM-Next.

This final 4.5 feature pull has more Kabylake enablement and prep work. Kabylake is the successor to Skylake that's serving as the 2016 platform rather than Cannonlake. Kabylake isn't changed up as much as going from Broadwell to Skylake, so hopefully they will have this "KBL" code all ready in time and mainlined before these next-generation processors begin rolling out -- the Skylake launch was a bit rough, but things have settled down with Linux 4.3~4.4.

This drm-intel-next pull request also has some mode-setting related fixes, initial work on MST audio, page dirty tracking fixes, some code refactoring, pinned FBDEV, tuned busy-wait logic, and more. Additional details via this DRI-devel posting.

The Linux 4.5 merge window will open in January.
