Martin Gräßlin has fixed some outstanding bugs and further tuned the performance of the KWin window manager for the KDE Plasma 5 stack.

The KWin maintainer has been working to profile more of the KDE window manager to look for areas of performance optimization and did manage to make some optimizations along with finding a Qt5 bug and separately improving KWin's response time when starting to manage a new window.

Martin blogged about his KWin optimization work on his personal blog. Given that the 5.2 release is later this month, this is all work queued up for KWin 5.3 that will be out next quarter.
