The KDE development team has announced their first Plasma 5 update of 2016.

Out today is KDE Plasma 5.5.3, which is just another monthly bug-fix update to Plasma 5. The prominent Plasma 5.5.3 fixes include addressing a hover effect breaking after using the Dashboard, using the proper Oxygen sound rather than sound from the KDE 4 library runtime, and refactoring the screen handling code to fix notifications appearing on the correct display.

Due in part to the holidays, Plasma 5.5.3 just has 20 changes via the complete change-log. Other Plasma 5.5.3 details are available via KDE.org.
