KDE Plasma 5.6 Released

KDE Plasma 5.6 has been officially released this morning.

Plasma 5.6 offers improved Wayland support, better performance, new dark and light themes for the Breeze theme, multi-tasking improvements to the task manager, widget improvements, the return of the weather widget, and various other changes. Plasma 5.6 also features early Breeze themes for Plymouth and GRUB to round out the cohesive branding experience.

Some of the Wayland improvements in KDE Plasma 5.6 include full support for window decorations, better input handling, and support for different keyboard layouts and layout switching.
