KDE Plasma 5.7 Due Today, A Video About It & More

KDE Plasma 5.7 is scheduled to be released today.

If you are anxious for the release, while waiting you can check out this Plasma 5.7 release video that a Phoronix reader pointed out to us was uploaded this morning by the KDE camp:


In some other KDE news, the KDE Neon Plasma Wayland images have been updated. The Plasma Wayland images are now built on the Neon infrastructure and they are in the process of migrating it to Qt 5.7. More details via Jonathan Riddell's blog.

Also, Martin Gräßlin has blogged about synchronizing the X11 and Wayland clipboards. That support is coming to the KDE desktop via using Qt's abstractions and interfacing with KWayland.
