As some more exciting news today in the KDE Wayland space besides the server-side decoration support is the release of the first KDE Plasma Wayland Live DVD/USB image.

Jonathan Riddell has announced the first Plasma Wayland Live image for those wanting to easily try out the KDE Wayland desktop experience without potentially hosing your system. However, users are cautioned that the stack isn't yet ready for day-to-day use.

More details on this first KDE Plasma Live image release using Wayland rather than X11 can be found via this dot.kde.org announcement.
