XBMC/Kodi 15.0 Alpha 1 Released

The first major feature release over Kodi 14, the media player / open-source HTPC software previously known as XBMC, is in development and its first development release is now available.

Kodi 15.0 Alpha 1 is now available and it's the very latest and most advanced version yet for this widely-used software. Kodi 15.0 is codenamed Isengard.

Kodi 15.0 Alpha 1 bringsAndroid HEVC support for some chipsets, adaptive seeking through audio/video playback, improved web-server caching control, removal of remaining SDL code, the code-base has been ported to C++11, start of integration binary add-ons, code stability improvements, performance improvements, etc.
