With the recent Beignet 1.2 release some Phoronix readers expressed disappointment that this Intel OpenCL implementation for Iris/HD Graphics hadn't supported the recently-released LLVM 3.9. Well, now it does.

The patches have landed. It ended up being rather invasive supporting LLVM 3.9 with over 200 lines of new code to accommodate API changes made for this six-month update to the LLVM compiler stack.

It would have been nice to see Beignet support this latest LLVM release earlier on, but at least now it's in Git for those wanting to pair it with the newest LLVM code.
