LDC 0.17.0 was released this past week as the newest version of this LLVM-based compiler for the D programming language.

LDC 0.17.0 brings improvements to eception handling, support for creating fully-static binaries on Linux via the -static switch, improved ARM support, NetBSD support, support for LLVM 3.8, early LLVM 3.9 SVN support, and a variety of bug fixes and other improvements.
