Quick note for anyone who has a vested interest in LLVM/Clang on Windows or in Windows XP: LLVM has ended its support.

It's been discussed before, but now LLVM developers have firmly decided to drop LLVM on Windows XP with LLVM 3.8. The LLVM 3.7 series is the last with Windows XP.

On a different LLVM topic, progress is being made on allowing the CMake build system to replace Autoconf. There are just a few blocker bugs outstanding for CMake to replace Autoconf for the LLVM project. If you're interested in that topic, see this mailing list post.
