Libinput Patches Add Touchpad Gestures & Wacom Tools

In getting Wayland's input support ready for prime-time usage and with Fedora 22 switching its X.Org input stack to libinput, Red Hat developers have been very busy getting libinput to reach feature parity with the conventional X.Org input code.

Among many other libinput patches that have been flying around recently, Hans de Goede of Red Hat published two interesting patch series this morning: touchpad gestures support and supporting the remaining Wacom tools for tablets.

The touchpad gesture support implements the touchpad gesture support API that Hans has been proposing. The only gesture handled right now by this code is swipe support, but he plans to add zoom/rotate gesture support next week.

With his 15 tablet libinput patches he adds support for the remaining tools for at least Wacom hardware. The additions include rotation support for mouse/lens cursor, rotation support for the art pen, wheel support for the air brush, and correct per-tool capabilities.
