Following the guest post this past weekend about Purism's Librem laptop remaining "blobbed up", the crowd-funded company has put out new information.

Purism posted some Librem 15 Rev2 debugging photos. Purism is getting close to production on this second revision of the Librem 15 laptop that will be in an aluminum casing.

Perhaps most interesting from their post is, "while the Librem 15 rev1 shipped with an AMI UEFI BIOS, we are working diligently to ship the Librem 15 rev2 with Coreboot+Intel FSP, and PureOS."

Purism also announced this week that they extended their campaign on their Librem 13 laptop. While it was getting close to ending, to date they've only raised $99k of their $250k goal, so the campaign has now been extended through mid-September.
