LINUX KERNEL
The Linux 4.4-rc4 test kernel, which should be released later today, has a number of DRM driver fixes.

David Airlie sent in a DRM fixes pull request yesterday with "a bunch of changes across the board", with particularly heavy fixes for Radeon and Nouveau drivers. There is also some AMDGPU, i915, i.MX, and Rockchip DRM fixes too. He ended his message with "propbably more [changes] than I'd like at this point, but hopefully things settle down now."

Over night Linus Torvalds pulled these Direct Rendering Manager driver fixes. There is a vblank regression fix, hotplug and VM fixes for Radeon/AMDGPU, fixing pre-NV50 Nouveau page-flip events, a blacklist for the ThinkPad T40p, an AMDGPU race condition fix, and more as outlined by the pull request. Commentary on the AMD-specific changes can be found from Alex Deucher's fixes message.
