Linus Torvalds has announced the release of Linux 4.7-rc7 as the seventh weekly test release to Linux 4.7.

Linus noted in the Sunday night announcement that it was a rather calm week and a few regressions are still being examined. Linus said this most likely will be the last 4.7 release candidate, but due to his travel schedule, he isn't planning to release Linux 4.7 for two weeks.

More details via the kernel mailing list release announcement. Overall, Linux 4.7 is looking to be in good shape with exciting changes and features.
