New Specifications On The Alleged Ubuntu Tablet

Back in December, Phoronix delivered the first article about An Ubuntu Tablet Inspired By The Ubuntu Edge Is Coming. From the company responsible for this tablet inspired by the failed Ubuntu Edge smartphone we have some new specifications of the tablet they plan to ship with Ubuntu.


Mark Jun of MJ Technology was the one that wrote into Phoronix in early December to share the prototype screenshots and few details with us. He's now written back into Phoronix to share the updated specifications on the tablet:
We will have two models an 8.9" and a 10.1" below are current specs of said tablets.

4GB DDR3 Ram

64GB Internal Storage optional 128GB Storage

MicroSD Slot for external storage (Currently takes 128GB MicroSd TF Cards)
One USB 2.0 Port

One USB 3.0 Port

One Micro USB Port

8.9" and 10.1" HD IPS Display with Resolution of 1920x1200 with 10 point multi-touch
5GHZ Wi-Fi with Bluetooth 4.0

HDMI Out

Headphone/Earbud Out
I'm still waiting to hear back from this relatively unknown company when they plan to release the tablet and at what price...
