For those out there still using MPlayer, the latest stable release is now available.

Coming in as the first release since October's debut of MPlayer is just a small maintenance update. MPlayer 1.2.1 has crash fixes for fuzzed files, many bug fixes, compatibility enhancements, and is now powered by FFmpeg 2.8.x. MPlayer 1.2.1 includes a copy of FFmpeg 2.8.5.

More details on today's minor MPlayer 1.2.1 update can be found via the project's official site at MPlayerHQ.hu.
