Wine 1.3.33 was released today with a few noteworthy changes.

The release of Wine 1.3.33 has support for text output in the DIB engine, improved support for HTTP proxies, a new version of the Gecko web rendering engine, a number of cursor fixes, fixes for bi-directional text layout, and various bug-fixes. The DIB engine improvements is no surprise as that's been worked on a fair amount lately. The Gecko engine update appears to be fairly run of the mill, but could help out some users.

The Wine 1.3.33 release announcement with a full change-log can be found at WineHQ.org.

There's still no official word yet on when Wine 1.4 may be out, but unofficially the latest I've heard is in H1'2012 (likely Q1).
