Git 1.8.1 Adding New Features, Fixes

One month after Git 1.8.0 was released, Git 1.8.1 is now being prepared with several new features as well as fixes.

Released on Monday was Git 1.8.1-rc0. Among the features for Git 1.8.1 will be new command-line completion scripts, various sub-command improvements, interface improvements, support for building on newer versions of Cygwin, and a large number of bug-fixes.
