For ending out the year, Opera 12.12 has been released as the latest version of the popular cross-platform Norwegian web-browser.

The Opera 12.12 isn't a major feature release but contains "loads of stability fixes, providing you the most stable holiday season surfing experience yet."

Among the work compared to Opera 12.11 is a new option for deleting settings and data for all extensions, a redesigned "Delete Private Data" dialog, a security issue with malformed GIF images leading to arbitrary code execution, an address field spoofing issue, and a problem on Unix systems where private data could be disclosed to other computer users.

For more details see the blog announcement by Opera's Desktop Team for the 12.12 release where they have the change-log along with download links for the various flavors of the Opera web-browser.
