E17 Release Day Set For 21 December 2012

Following the first E17 Alpha release earlier this week, more details have emerged about the future direction of Enlightenment and the long-awaited official release.

For those interested in Enlightenment/E17, see the E17 release manager blog post that goes into great detail about all of the happenings this past week.

For interested Linux desktop users, the release date of E17 is set as 21 December 2012. They set this date based upon the 2012 phenomenon as anticipated by the Mayans.
