Wayland 1.0.1 Has Been Released
Kristian Høgsberg announced the Wayland 1.0.1 release on Monday. It's been just shy of one month since the release of Wayland 1.0 while today's update provides some fixes for the recent release that marked the point of API/protocol stability and a guarantee on backwards compatibility with future releases.
Wayland 1.0.1 brings an important fix for out-of-order "delete_id" events to take care of a Wayland crash during EGLSurface destruction. There's also 52 commits in the Weston 1.0.1 release. However, the Weston Test Suite for unit tests still isn't running cleanly. However, the tests will eventually be restructured.
