Wayland's Weston system compositor has been hooked up to systemd so it can be used for client notification support.

In order to allow Weston to signal when it's available for connections by clients, Ander Conselvan de Oliveira of Intel is working on integrating systemd support for handling these notifications.

For now this systemd support is only available if the libsystemd-daemon is available without Wayland/Weston having a hard dependency on systemd at this time.

The systemd notification support can be found for now on the wayland-devel mailing list.
