FLAC 1.3 Released, First Update In A Long Time

The FLAC lossless audio codec has experienced its first major update in the better part of a decade. FLAC 1.3.0 is also the first release under Xiph.Org maintainership and comes with many new features.

Among the features to FLAC 1.3.0, which was released in late May, is support for RF64 and Wave64 formats, better handling of cuesheets with non-CD-DA sample rates, and various other FLAC improvements.
