At long last, Digia has put out the first release candidate of the Qt 5.1 tool-kit.

The final release of Qt 5.1 is due this summer and as the first major update to Qt5 it brings improved Wayland support, integrated Android support, Apple iOS support, more OpenGL features, new Qt modules, and much more. More of the Qt 5.1 features are covered in this Phoronix article.

Right now Digia is hoping that Qt 5.1 final will be out in "the coming weeks", but already with the 5.1 release schedule we have seen it slip multiple times.

More details on the Qt 5.1 Release Candidate can be found via the Digia blog.
