Portal's been in beta on Linux since early May, but today Valve Software has finally moved this popular Source Engine game out of beta on Steam for Linux.

This release is about the original Portal game from 2007 that's a first-person puzzle-platform title. Portal 2 is still coming to Linux shortly and now Portal is available to all Linux gamers via Steam.

If you don't already own Portal, it's only $9.99 USD and can be found via Steam.
