Ubuntu Touch Continues Advancing

More progress was made by Canonical and the Ubuntu development community on the Ubuntu Touch project for Linux on smart-phones and tablets.

Shared by Daniel Holbach is a status update for week 11 activity on Ubuntu Touch. Key activity for the past week includes:

- More applications are now supporting Qt's multi-threaded rendering.

- The Ubuntu Telephony stack is still being tackled.

- Updates to the Ubuntu Touch Platform API.

- The ports team now has the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 (GT-P6800) working with Ubuntu Touch while the HTC Sensation XL, SGS III (Qualcomm AT&T), and Toshiba AC100 devices are new works in progress.
