A Buggy Mir Shown Running Unity 8 On Ubuntu Touch

A new video surfaced today showing Unity 8 atop Mir -- without XMir or Android's SurfaceFlinger -- running on Ubuntu Touch, but right now it's a visually depressing experience.

While it's a nice milestone of having Unity 8 running directly on the Mir Display Server without having to be routed through XMir or SurfaceFlinger, the video by Canonical's Didier Roche shows that it's very buggy. In particular, there's frequent screen flickering when using Mir on Ubuntu Touch,

The Mir issues will be resolved in time while below is the video showing off Mir on mobile in its current state.
