FlightGear 2.12 Is Flying

The FlightGear open-source flight simulator has graduated to version 2.12 and with it comes many changes as it still sets out to try to compete with commercial flight simulators.

Among the improvements found with FlightGear 2.12 include continued work on their Canvas rendering toolkit, improved scenery rendering, usability improvements, major work on the transponder instrument system, atmospheric light scattering improvements, and much more.
